Isaac’s love for gospel music started way back when he was just a little guy, rocking his diaper and cowboy boots on the family coffee table, singing “I Feel Like Traveling On” with all his heart! Growing up as the fourth of four kids in Findlay, Ohio, Isaac was surrounded by music. His dad, Paul, was a singer-songwriter who traveled with The Fishermen Quartet from Clyde, Ohio, during the 1980s and 1990s. So, Isaac grew up on stage, in the recording studio, and on the bus! He was heavily involved in music and theater from high school all the way through college at Ohio Northern University, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, International Theatre Production, and French. In the summer of 2013, while working at a summer stock theater, Isaac met Michelle, and they were married in 2016. Now, they’re living in Columbus, Ohio, with their two beautiful children. Just before he graduated from college, Isaac had the opportunity to audition for the tenor position with Sojourner Quartet from Findlay, Ohio. He toured the country with them for most of six years, singing on five recordings and a live video. He decided to stop touring in 2020 when he and Michelle were expecting their first child. For the next several years, Isaac was the Technical Director and Production Manager at Columbus Children’s Theatre. During his time there, he started CCT Scenic, where he was in charge of building and installing nearly 100 sets for plays all over central Ohio.

In February 2024, after a tough decade suffering many strokes, Isaac’s dad, Paul, passed away and went to his heavenly home. This started a big change for Isaac, and he began to feel called to follow a lifelong dream and embark on a Southern Gospel ministry of his own. He decided to use his dad’s musical legacy as a launching point and see where God was leading him. So, he created Harbor Gospel Music Productions LLC (the same name his dad used for his music) and established Isaac Steinhour Music. Isaac is so grateful to be able to travel to churches and special events all over the country, spreading the love of Jesus and the hope of Heaven through his music.
